    2. Hosting of the Service

The CrossbordIA Service is hosted and operated via the Lovable Labs AB platform, whose registered office is located at Box 190, 101 23 Stockholm, Sweden, reachable at support@lovable.dev and on the website https://lovable.dev.

The infrastructure of Lovable Labs AB may involve the processing of data on servers located outside the European Union. These transfers are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) compliant with European law. For any question relating to the location of data, you may contact contact@crossbordia.fr.

    3. Intellectual property

    3.1 Rights of the Publisher

All the constituent elements of the CrossbordIA Service — algorithms, source code, graphical interfaces, texts, logos, trade marks, databases and documentation — are the exclusive property of CrossbordIA SAS or its licensors. These elements are protected by the French Intellectual Property Code and the applicable international conventions.

Any reproduction, representation, modification or use not expressly authorised constitutes an infringement punishable under Articles L.335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code.

    3.2 CrossbordIA trade mark

The name “CrossbordIA”, its logo and any associated distinctive sign are trade marks registered or in the process of registration with the Institut National de la Propriété Industrielle (INPI, the French national industrial property office). Any unauthorised use may give rise to civil and criminal proceedings.

    3.3 Public customs reference data

The customs nomenclatures used by the Service (Harmonised System codes, Combined Nomenclature, TARIC database) are public data produced by competent authorities such as the European Commission, the World Customs Organization and the French Directorate-General of Customs and Excise, as well as the nomenclatures published by HM Revenue & Customs (United Kingdom), the U.S. International Trade Commission (United States), Tolletaten (Norway) and the Canada Border Services Agency (Canada). CrossbordIA claims no exclusive intellectual property rights over them.

    4. Artificial intelligence — Transparency

CrossbordIA incorporates the Google Gemini artificial intelligence model, developed by Google LLC and Google DeepMind, to generate customs classification suggestions. In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 on artificial intelligence (AI Act), the Publisher provides the following transparency information.

The system is a decision-support tool based on probabilistic models. It is intended exclusively for qualified professionals and takes no decision in a fully automated manner. Human supervision is mandatory before any operational use of the results. The suggestions generated may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuited to a particular context. The processing of data by Google Gemini may involve a transfer outside the European Union, governed by the applicable Standard Contractual Clauses.

Warning: the customs codes generated by CrossbordIA are probabilistic suggestions. Their direct use, without prior human validation, engages the sole liability of the user. CrossbordIA does not issue Binding Tariff Information (BTI). For any sensitive operation, consult an approved customs expert or apply for a BTI from the French Directorate-General of Customs and Excise (DGDDI).

The articles in the News section are written with the help of an AI model (Anthropic) on the basis of public sources. They are provided for information purposes only and are flagged as such.

For any question relating to the AI system: contact@crossbordia.fr.

The processing of personal data collected in connection with the use of the Service is governed by the CrossbordIA Privacy Policy, available on the website and in the application.

Analytics cookies, intended for audience measurement, and personalisation cookies, enabling your display preferences to be remembered, are only placed after your prior consent has been obtained via the cookie manager accessible on the Service. You may change your preferences at any time via the same manager or by configuring your browser.

    7. Hyperlinks

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, in particular customs administrations, standardisation bodies or official publications. CrossbordIA disclaims all liability as to the content, availability or practices of these external websites.

The Publisher may request the removal of any link that does not meet these conditions.

    8. Limitation of editorial liability

The informative content published on the Service, such as guides, articles, documentation and FAQs, is made available for information purposes only.
