The facts used for classification

The engine builds a sheet for the item from your description and your columns.

• Object: what the item is (“handbag”, “key ring”)
• Construction: knitted, woven, moulded, forged…
• Materials with their shares: “80% cotton, 20% polyester”
• Gender: men, women, children, unisex
• Use and possibly “part of” (component of a set)

What is not used

The reference, the trade name or the brand are markers. They never determine the code.

Avoid vague descriptions

“Fashion accessory” does not allow a decision. “Zinc alloy key ring, with steel ring” lets the engine proceed without a question.

A declared fact prevails

If a photo or a standing instruction contradicts a declared fact, the declared fact prevails; in case of contradiction, you are asked a question.
